In today’s world of rapid developments in technology, there are still hundreds of marginalized youth who neither have access  nor can afford computer literacy and skills to better their lives.
Ntpc Ramagundam Deepthi Mahila Samithi identified this need and started three months IT Hardware course in association with CSR-CD and IT Department on 04th April 2022 for the young minds who come from under-served communities where they do not have any access to computer literacy.
The three-month IT Hardware course will be conducted at Lifeskills Academy Block I, wherein 40 youth belonging to the marginalized and weaker section of society of the project affected villages of NTPC Ramagundam will be provided with basic computer operation with advance sessions pertaining to Computer assembling, Hardware components and its usage followed by the installation of the CC Cameras.
On this occasion, Smt. Usha Kumar President of Deepthi Mahila Samithi NTPC Ramagundam, said that Deepthi Mahila Samithi has always believed in technology as the driver for human progress and added that this program will promote a culture of learning amongst the youth to make them future-ready in the field of technology services. “Our dream is for the long-term, as we invest our energy and resources in the youth to equip them for a digital future,” she said.
Shri DS Kumar DGM HR thanked IT Department to provide a wholesome computer hardware Course and educating young minds residing in the Project-affected Villages of NTPC Ramagundam. He further congratulated all the selected participants and requested them to properly utilize the opportunity to its core and added that these types of initiatives will be encouraged by the NTPC Ramagundam CSR Department for the overall development of the community at large.
